  1. Past hour
  2. Agreed. I remember lots of 70 degrees growing up in Hampton Roads with rain to snow from a frontal passage, but never this drastic. Pretty cool.
  3. Lots of virga or at least intensity levels much less than implied by radar in this area...
  4. Monday afternoon/night will be wild too but prob just Thunderstorms but big temp drop again
  5. Best dynamics were and are down in the middle Atlantic.
  6. The “ground is too warm for snow to accumulate” crowd just can’t stop taking giant L’s
  7. not sure if this old Intellicast ptype is right but if so... it's cat paws or wet snow or virga
  8. big flakes coming down. reminds me of the start of the late feb blizzard.
  9. That was humbling. So, it can snow and accumulate a few hours after it's been 75 degrees the entire night prior to the snow starting the next day around noon, in the middle of March, with a temp above freezing. My grass is covered and the trees are hanging heavy with snow. Wtf lol
  10. Ah yes, right across from the Conewago Trail where my wife and I often walk. I know exactly where you were.
  11. There is 0 irony there. One needs to think and start to understand more intimately, the rudimentary knowledge and associations about how these geological system work. When you doubt ... from a position uneducated, the information and raw data that is coming from that type and scale of sophistication, just keep in mind that the same scientific processes you doubt are how and why you can even type doubts on your phone or pc
  12. Went over to snow at 3:20 pm, with no transition, moderate rate.
  13. Hey, I was just in Etown a couple hours ago. We drop/hook dirty for sanitized tankers at Quala on Industrial Rd.
  14. Probably gonna go with .1" in DC to match DCA... 1" in NW Arlington? My family's photos didn't look as impressive as @MN Transplant's. Guess I'll see what spotters have to say.
  15. Can you imagine leaving for work in the morning with temps in the mid 70s and then driving home in full-on winter driving conditions 8 hours later?
  16. Historic, Heinous, Dangerous Heat building in the West
  17. I'll give props to winter for taking another swing after some 80 degree days, hopefully not the last swing and hopefully the next one at night. A RedSky special indeed....
