Metaphorically speaking, of course…….. as always ……

yeah that sucked, but I think 1/15 was worse because I knew 1/22 wasn't coming back this way off the jump, 1/15 looked good region wide, while it was better than 1/22 in terms of accumulating snow, it was sand for a good portion while SE areas cashed in big, that sucked bad just watching it dump and pivot east of my area
-
That’s reasonable if you ignore the gfs coastal. As soon as rates let up, you’re mixing or non accumulating. Then hoping the ivt gives the goods

Man what's wrong with you. Can't you be a bit more positive or excited. A day and a half ago this wasn't even happening. Be happy with what you're going to get. -

This is a great example of why we use the ensemble means at this range. The EPS AIFS has been very steady for days now. It hasn’t shown any big jumps from run to run like OPs. The OP runs should begin to converge over the next 24 hrs. The ensembles have been pretty steady indicating that parts of Long Island have the best chance at a 6” event.

I wonder how much ferocity will be maintained with the death-band given the maxing lower in latitude...asking for about 237 friends.... -
Euro already gave a big nod

As did Jan 15 here. It’s great the euro caved but as noted from the get go…plowable for most while memorable for se zones. -

Absolutely amazing trends overnight and this morning. I’m feeling much better about this with the Euro and EPS now on board for a decent event. -

Sadly, there isn’t much use. You’d just rather them be in your camp than not. -

Wakefield got burned last time saying blizzard conditions were possible for SEVA and hanging onto high snow totals long after it was obvious it wasnt going to happen,
