There were some changes at 500 that I liked actually. Looked like it almost phased in some more energy up in Canada. I think it was pretty close to a bigger event.

Yeah they should do alright. For us, three trace events by early December will hopefully bode well for a measurable event to come.

More South or Southwest. SE Virginia is getting hammered now. Been watching Live Cam from Colonial Heights, near Petersburg. 4 inches and pouring big Flakes. Truly rare for there this early.

I was thinking if this system was just 150 or so miles south this would be an eerily similar start to winter to Dec 1995.

The wrap around light snow is starting to pivot into wake county. May only affect the Northern part of the county and will be relatively minor but I think will lead to some light accumulation in spots

Yeah probably...warm enough to melt a coating or an inch of snow most likely. Interior elevations N of pike might keep new snow (they also have a current snowpack anyway from 12/2)....but further south and east near 84 and 495 prob low 40s on Wednesday...maybe warmer even further SE.
