Same. Decent burst of snow coming down. Probably too warm for any stickage here. -

Finally 33° but now it’s too light to accumulate. Spots just above 300’ are over an inch. Oh well

It’s least 2” if not a bit more on grass and colder surfaces in Spotsylvania. Slush on roads and parking lots. -
Richmond 34 and snow

Just measured 1.25” here. Amazing given the temps yesterday
-
^I really like the picture with the cherry tree.

We’re missing a lot of these nickel and dime events, which eases some of the pain. But it is kinda stupid. I don’t think I spent more than 30 minutes tracking this one…I knew my fate going in once I saw where the western edge of the precip was showing up on the models.

I'd say that this thread more than lived up to its name. What a fun little storm. Arguably stuff like this is the best snows. -

Alright who is the weenie who reported snow in Raleigh? LOL
-
Doing almost nothing here at the moment..a few sleet pellets barely.
-
That really blows my mind. That normally doesn't happen at this time of the year, especially following the warmth of the last few days, unless there was something special brewing (like the Storm of the Century in 1993). It would be like in the summer if it was 105 one day, and barely above 50 at the same time the next day. I can't wrap my head around that.

Low forming off the nc/va border, nice precip enhancement ongoing. we still haven't seen the heaviest precip over us yet,I do expect a period of mod to heavy snow over us for a bit.
-
78.3 for my high today 33.1 for the low (current temp) nearing 1” of snow here south of old town Alexandria (heaviest snow rate of the winter currently) along the tropical shores of the Potomac….bonkers!
