Always bring a coat on the boat and to Fenway in April.

It was wild around quarter to 9. Came in like a freight train. The lowlands keeps on stacking precip W's

Not a drop overnight in Reisterstown.

Yes it is, with dew points of 45, you clearly don't remember July 4, 2010. and I'm glad we hit 90 Thursday, that was the best day of the entire summer!
-
We had the same thing down the road from you. I haven't heard rain like that in a while. It was roaring. I'm definitely on the warm side of the front this morning. Very warm and humid with peaks of sun.
-
You have a nice park in West Babylon.
-
We've had a sharp cutoff up here. As of 7AM, the southern part of the county has had well over 3", and just a few miles north in Huntington, .13"

It feels far more uncomfortable near the ocean with the higher humidity-- unless you go swimming of course. For cooler nights I find the mountains, in the Poconos it's much cooler at night and much easier to sleep. If you want to go by comfort level, the temperatures at the ocean with a sea breeze don't mean much because the humidities are higher. If you want real comfort you need elevation. Fortunately I love heat so I loved Coney Island back in the 80s when we used to have actual heat. My favorite summers baked at the beach Going swimming was cool relief but as soon as I was out of the water I felt the hot embrace of the sun once again. The reason I love Long Beach is because it's so close to the city and doesn't feel the sea breeze as much as say Fire Island or Montauk does. SW winds only have a short trajectory over water so the influence is much less-- Atlantic Beach even better, I used to spend a lot of my summers there.

I’m from Nassau. Cant pay me to deal with Long Beach parking. Babylon town beaches for the win. Don’t regret the move -
What info do you need?

Forest fire smoke is so bad here. Special Olympics have been postponed 2 hours.

Good to see you again Cash! Hopefully all is well up in your area in SoPA. I need to stop by your area and meet at some point. You were always one of the friendliest people I ever met on here back in the days I lived at Millersville while getting my degree. I need to stop by the PA forum again and say hello

1.00 to 1.25” of rain up here overnight. 13th mow on Friday the 13th, how ironic
-
Got absolutely slammed between 830-930 last night and ended up with 1.66" of rain. Rain rate on the local PWS was as high as 2.47"/hr. I can tell you that it was accurate by how hard it slammed onto the roof of the house. Everything got a nice drink! 90/71 were the hi/low numbers yesterday. This morning was MUGGY when I left the house. Currently 73/73 and I believe it 100%. Phew

53.5° -SHRA Only some spits right now. Steined with 0.05”. Looks fairly dry most of the day too. Models get really close to clearing us out in the afternoon, but it’ll probably be too late.

Not much latitudinal movement on these clouds, ftl.

Why did they wait til the mid 90s to finally start warming?
-
Yesterday turned into a cool beaut of a day. I think we stayed in the 60's, but the sun felt warm once it broke through. It was cold on the water--glad I had brought my coat on the boat. Hoping the sun will dislodged today's clouds soon.

The lowlands got hit hard last evening. Lots of flash flooding in the South River watershed last evening around 8:00. I haven't looked to see how much fell IMBY. Radar estimates are 2-3". 1.20" Heaviest a mile south of me.
