Sorry, also wanted to mention that no game dates have been scheduled yet for next season, so we're not sure what time of year it will be. -

Thanks! Yeah, we're super pumped for that one. I've never been to the Pacific Northwest, outside of airport stops (doesn't count ha), and I've heard nothing but good things about Husky Stadium. -

Backloaded summer! -
Here, the maple leaves are turning a vivid red, and falling. I still do some landscaping in Brattleboro, part-time. Leaf season coming up with the big ol' beast of a leaf sucker. K-ching! We reuse it as mulch and then compost the next two years.

I climbed Mount Marcy about twenty years ago with my Dad and two brothers. Also, you can't beat the view of the Adirondacks from Burlington. I have a good friend from Saranac Lake (always one of the coldest spots, that station--SLK?). Another from Lake Placid. Ex-girlfriend's family had a cool little place further West, Adirondacks, accessible only by boat. Sorry, this made me reminisce for a minute...

Maybe the Carolinas have something to watch?

Holy sh--, I read about this on NPR's Web site yesterday: https://www.npr.org/2025/09/22/nx-s1-5549961/patrons-new-hampshire-shooting I am also glad you are OK, wicked scary!

Color coming on quickly down here too. Saw a few big giant maples (not swamp maples) getting lots of red and orange on them when driving around yesterday.

Good agreement from the 12z mesos for storms for DC-north in the 21-0z window

Always fun when your team sets new records for futility
-
I said this a few days ago. Could be a significant storm for a spot that doesn’t see them often

Saw a stat that KOC and the Vikings are 15-3 when he has a ginger starting at QB. Let's hope he keeps that going with Wentz. I'm nervous about JJ Ponder when he gets healthy, he just seems a bit too jittery. I feel bad for the commanders and RG4 but that's the risk with a mobile QB who is super skinny.

Currently 64.6/63.8 with light rain (about 0.05" so far in the gauge) after a 58.3 low. Started a bit after 9 am. Hope it continues for a while, the grass that has come up already is happy.

Some of the best color I’ve seen around here in at least 5 years or so. That wet summer and then this last stretch really setting things up nicely . And very early too. Trees are 10 days ahead at least
