  1. Past hour
  2. https://xmacis.rcc-acis.org go to “consecutive days” under the single station drop down.
  3. It was honestly really impressive. Though only having ohill open for three days was rough for some people on Sunday and Monday. I just survived off my Saturday 6am wegmans bakery run
  4. Im glad we can entertain y'all. With there being so many of us, that seems normal that everyday there's something to learn about Michigan weather history. It is a weather board. Blame Josh with all his stats n shit.
  5. Covid lock downs definitely broke the will of many. It seems like events are cancelled much easier now. We got up to 25 degrees today after a low of -1. I am all set with snow and cold for the year. I did get back into skiing after a 8 year hiatus. Legs feel like rubber today but it was fun. Got to do something to at least make you pretend you like snow and cold.
  6. UVA didn't mess around with their removal when I was a student there. Pretty darn good... only day I had trouble was during COVID trying to get to grounds during an ice storm. That was a little stupid.
  7. URI 76 77 78 I swear I blew off more classes to cold than snow
  8. I was getting some work done at the school when it popped. We've been closed all week
  9. sustained winds or frequent gusts of 35 mph and 1/4 mile visibility or less with snow or blowing snow for 3 hours or longer
  10. AWESOME to see you’re in Salem as well! Yea I just personally feel like the way the ULL is coming in might make it a little tough as we fight against dry air draining in from the north/northeast. I’d be ecstatic if we could ring out about .3” of qpf. That would be a nice storm to work with, esp because the ratios are so crazy. @Blacksburg Coach see they flipped Montgomery Co to a warning.
  11. Yes. Mostly close to the coast but there’s a good chance. WPC mentions it in their disco
  12. My high school was like a college campus requiring you to walk outside building to building between each class. Jan 94 was a fun one for that.
  13. UVA canceled (all online) Monday and Tuesday with a 10am start yesterday and now it’s back to normal. They did an incredible job internally with ice removal but Charlottesville is a complete mess so a ton of professors are self canceling.
  14. you never know what will crop up, just like this last one; i remember in feb 2014 nothing looked good and then all of a sudden an 8-10 paste job materialized......that was it for that year, the next march storm actually got suppressed, leaving us with pixie dust and delayed openings we didn't need....those march storms often suck....
  15. Any chances to see some thundersnow with all of the dynamics in play the low bombing out?
  16. He's still checking in and posting when he can, although it's early in the day due to where he is on the other side of the globe. He dropped in yesterday for a bit We all miss his BOOM!
  17. that seems to make more sense...the accuweather graphic showed only gray areas....
  18. Never forget those middle school days walking a mile to school in bz cold. The 60's early 70's were brutal.
  19. I like this map. If we can get the disturbance underneath us we don’t need to worry too much about the 18z gfs rainstorm in a cold pattern outcome. Instead we get an 18z ai gfs snowstorm for the whole forum.
  20. Remarkably similar to last weeks setup. As a reminder to folks it took a truly Herculean amount of things to go wrong for that setup to “bust” as badly as it did.
