  1. Past hour
  2. Hate to see it for Ant. It would have been nice to get one of those 100 mile wide bands that takes care of everyone but alas, some win, some lose. .
  3. Amazing traffic cams in CT. From virtually nothing to whiteout in 2 exits
  4. What are we 12 years old? Jeez what a lot of whining in here, it's snowing out, enjoy it!
  5. Its disgusting Everyone around us have been doing good.
  6. Very, very low visibility right now. Not zero but damn close
  7. Looks like OKX/PHI cut back on amounts and downgraded warnings to advisories for Somerset and Middlesex. Saw that coming, glad we went conservative there
  8. I called for 7” for my backyard last night and that’s still looking good. Some parts of CT and further east on LI will probably hit 10”. HRRR/RAP have snow lingering around here for much of the overnight. That was looking like the jackpot zone all day-from eastern half of Suffolk through much of CT and the Hudson Valley/Albany. And it was a risk that with the banding making it that far east it would result in subsidence/shredded crap over the city and west.
  9. 2.75" down in the first hour here with heavy snow continuing. 19/17.
  10. The fact that NWS has a 7:14 PM map out on social still calling for 6.8" for Sussex and 4.9" for Morristown might draw a few swipes here and there. Not a personal attack on the mets, but it is worth pointing out that for parts of the area they are woefully wrong and misinformed about what is playing out.
  11. choking snow out there, about 1.5 since first flake at 630, vis is about 1/10 mile and get less I can barely see the street lights a few hundred feet away right now.
  12. What a joke. So much for heavy snow after 7-8pm. I got maybe 2.5” and this thing is on the door step already. Congrats to those up north and east.
  13. The areas riding the mixing line are gonna make out like bandits considering the forcing and huge flakes
  14. Yeah it not easy for you guys, its all with the trough axis and this has alot to do with the NAO,we never do good here in Mid Tn with clippers,we get very little and watch them explode as it gets into the Cumberland
  15. had more snow fall a couple weeks ago.
  16. Philly doesn’t have the passion, half of the NYC forum is arguing, and neither have the knowledgeable posters. NE has them but if it isn’t snowing in Boston 90% don’t even bother, and the SE is just inactive. We have fostered a supportive community and we live and die together.
  17. It’s a bit of a yikes to cut amounts in half and those still be optimistic. It’s not the Mets fault because anywhere north of where the mix line set up would cash in but man there will be some angry people tomorrow
  18. Oh well a bust it looks like for the city. Nothing new here as we’ve busted low on nearly every storm for the past several years.
