Model trends seem good for increased amounts in central and western VA and the precip shield extending up to the metros.

this is actually pretty late for Ji - so another good sign.

GFS backed off too for most of NC

The 03z RAP looks similar to the 21z with a decent strip of 2-3 inches of snow in the same areas. The RAP and HRRR are more stark with rain or snow vs freezing rain or mix.

Canadian is also very similar to 12z. Maybe a hair drier.

Snowfall totals are submitted using the entry form. No one has access to edit the spreadsheet directly. Keeps the spreadsheet in pristine condition by making it read only (I have some experience with this). If something needs to be fixed because it was entered incorrectly, you can PM me and I can adjust it, though it will be when I have free time to take care of it. I went back through all my PM's and other than one new one from today, I have replied back with everyone's snowfall submission form links.

I just took an invigorating walk at the park with middle to low 40s, dewpoints in the high 30s, and no more than a light breeze. This is close to ideal walking wx for me…well except for having the extremely rare snow on the ground to walk on. Nothing beats the soothing feeling of walking on snow!

Without something to make it go negative us northern folk are screwed
