  1. Past hour
  2. This happened around 1:30am I was sleeping didn't hear a thing here. and i'm about 2 miles (as the crow flies) from this. Outside of Berrysburg between square and St John's Road Another post on Facebook from someone: The entire valley is covered in debris. Trees have fallen, mailboxes were in the road, chairs, lawn displays, etc. I traveled between Eville, Mbg, Dalmatia, etc this morning. It was insane the amount of stuff all in the road.
  3. 4.1 in the gauge and still coming down. Drought here gone. .
  4. this May sucks balls. That is all. …. As I like the fireplace again.
  5. Mike Gorse, fwiw,--the current point forecast for Ancient Oaks in Lehigh County does not display the current flood warning- strangeIt maybe because Its for Perkiomen stream only and not the Little lehigh. I guess Thanks
  6. Well, Happy Birthday to those having one yesterday or today! lol
  7. Only 0.13 fell here from several different showers, some quite gusty in late afternoon. So, I will fall short of the monthly record of 8.03" with 7.99" it appears. I have twigs, limbs and leaves everywhere this am, it will be a clean-up day.
  8. It also depends if it's actually a hot summer with a lot of 90 degree days or merely a very warm summer with artificially inflated averages because of higher mins.
  9. 2.25 inches of rain at my house - Spring Creek is at flood stage and rising quickly. Been a long time since we have reached flood stage. Yes I will declare this drought over guys at this time. These long duration rains are now bringing up the base flows of the streams. Corn is coming up nicely in my area of Lehigh County. If the farmer is trying to plant it now, it could be a loss. The loss however is not just the rain but with the extreme cooler temps. Usually by now, we have temps in the mid to upper 80's with a few days of 90's. In fact, we maybe back in the 40's for overnight lows and highs only in the upper 60's for June 1 ------ Coolest I have seen for us in June but it does save on the AC bills. But after Wednesday, we go back into the oven. Watch the mold counts grow big time.
  10. No one wants any more rain, it's good to see it sent somewhere else.
  11. Yep it's wonderful to see :-)
  12. Don't buy in to high amounts, they're just as off as they are in the winter, this was always going to be a NW rainstorm with high winds at the coast. Sunshine is much better than flooding at any rate.
  13. 1.45” with the 5/30 “tornadic” cell which traveled generally NE-ward near I-95 just east of Columbia, and then an additional 1/2” during the evening so 1.95” for Friday.
  14. It was never going to rain that much east of NJ. It's good to wake up to sunshine.
  15. I like the winds, they blew away the clouds
  16. All that severe weather talk and I didn't even see a drop of rain yesterday. Nothing on the south side of Hampton Roads nor in Northeast North carolina. We'll see what happens later today.
  17. Luckily no rainfall here this morning I woke up to bright sunny skies
  18. Meh. 0.16". Hey stuff is north Sent from my SM-S921U using Tapatalk
  19. No they were right on target. The stupid high rainfall predictions are just as bad as the stupid high snowfall predictions in the winter. This was always going to produce the high rainfall amounts NW and that's exactly what happened. I woke up to sunshine here at 6 am.
