Happy actual Fall everyone! I am looking forward to tracking our first frost & first flakes.

4th and 3, why are they playing 10 yds off the WR's? Absolutely horrible defensive play calling.

Today was an incredible day for any outdoor activities. I was out and about pretty much the entire day, including a nice 5.5 mile walk. Love these earlier fall days. Now we get closer to the perfect season

Chris, My wife and I were there having a light dinner in the "Oak Room", downstairs restaurant, Ball room upstairs and Prime restuarant as well, at 715pm or so, there was maybe 8 people in the lower restaurant, most on patio (nice night etc) ,I heard rapid shots, I yelled that's gunfire! I grabbed my wife , up a flight of stairs in the rear, to the kitchen , there are only two exits to the "outside" ,one to the dumpster , the other for delivery vehicle access , and towards the course . We took the one to the dumpster, there were about ten of us there fence in, I was telling my wife anyone opens that door I'm lifting you on top of the dumpster, jump to the ground and run! She was crying I'm not leaving you. I heard a scream from the kitchen, someone opened the door, and said the assailant ran out the other door bleeding near his head. Before that he was tackled dropped the gun, someone hit him with a chair. We then went to the ball room where police escorted us to the SpitBrook road fire station, I was able to get my car yesterday at noon, there were still 10 cruisers and I had to give my license phone number etc. I am a little shell shocked, never in my life would I think this would happen to me and my wife, we were one of the lucky ones. Sorry for posting on this thread.

I’ve got both. Squirrels and acorns. It’s awesome how the acorns plant themselves right into the holes in the lawn from aerating. I can’t wait to see another new oak grove in my lawn next spring

Drenching downpours are coming in the next two days says the drought guy. Million dollar rains for landscapers and for fall colors -
I agree about Morristown/Dandridge. Including Jefferson City and Talbott where the NWS is located. I have a buddy near Panther Creek State Park who picked up 1.25in at his house. I only got .41 at my house though as the heavy rain fell apart as it moved NE. The same thing happened again today where the west side got heavy rain and barely any to show by the time it got here.

There’s a deep NW flow . Gone

East of the Leeward Islands: A tropical wave located about 250 miles east of the Leeward Islands is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions appear marginally conducive for some development over the next few days as the wave moves quickly westward to west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph. By the latter part of this week, the system is expected to slow down and turn northwestward, and a tropical depression could form late this week when the system is over the southwestern Atlantic Ocean or near the Bahamas. Regardless of development, gusty winds and heavy rainfall are expected to affect portions of the Leeward Islands late tonight and Tuesday and near Puerto Rico late Tuesday and Wednesday. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent. * Formation chance through 7 days...medium...50 percent.

Central Tropical Atlantic: Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a tropical wave located about midway between the Lesser Antilles and the Cabo Verde Islands show some signs of organization. Environmental conditions are forecast to become more favorable for development by tomorrow, and a tropical depression is likely to form on Wednesday or Thursday while the system moves west-northwestward to northwestward across the central Atlantic. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent. * Formation chance through 7 days...high...80 percent.

Two days in a row. A heavy rainer made it to Scott co then fell apart with redevelopment to the East of here. Hopefully the upstream stuff doesn't do the same thing
