I’m not nearly as negative about Feb as many here, but that surprises me. Just curious, what do you think many of us who are less optimistic about Feb are missing? Or are you just less optimistic about January? edit: I just saw your post raising concerns about the pac jet for January.

Yes. 1996 ranks 3rd. The super lengthy 2016 is 4th and 1979 big drifting Blizzard of 66 incredible in Salisbury and have not seen drifting like that since. I was a yoot back then so these are my DC storms

Guessing it picks up in a bit but there has been no wind to speak of here. It was windier this morning. I assume I'll get a few pine cones off the windows in an hour or so. There's a hill that rises a few hundred feet about .50mi West of my house so West winds usually get broken and whistle above me.
