  1. Past hour
  2. Nicely placed high pressures to the west and north!
  3. Went 10-16” for the Lehigh Valley on my page yesterday. Sticking to that tonight. We cannot have another jump north after 18z though. That would cause me to really rethink things and I HATE busting high.
  4. Also the warm nose can stay negative but still screw enough with snowflake microphysics you end up with ratios well below 10:1 Sent from my SM-S731U using Tapatalk
  5. Vividly lol. Isn’t that why we have the TN valley sub forum now?
  6. Meh. We know this will cut to Chicago
  7. Probably need it down there for now. Remember the days when we used to trend a storm from South Carolina into E TN. The SE forum guys didn't like us so much when that happened.
  8. Cold means business. This is what happens when you advect arctic air over frozen Great Lakes and ground. Minimal airmass modification.
  9. All this long island debbie downer talk is silly. We are likely headed to a 40" plus season. We've had many great all snow blizzards in the past 2 decades. If you want to live somewhere that gets all snow events for the 5 days a year it matters, go for it. Otherwise, enjoy whatever comes.
  10. There is plenty of time left climatologically-speaking for some big storms, but the pattern simply isn't looking favorable for y'all up there in the forseeable future (down here in the South & the East Coast are a different story) once this storm passes. It's just looking cold and dry, with perhaps more nickel & dime events.
