  1. Past hour
  2. It's noting now but could be huge. I remember Charlie in 2004 was nothing and came out of nowhere and was a small 155 MPH hurricane at landfall.
  3. Newark reached 81° today. That was its fifth high of 80° or above during the second half of September and is the most such days since there were seven during September 16-30, 2021.
  4. Both Euro and GFS have a tropical system landfall at SC/NC Monday.
  5. Hope it doesn't come to pass, but that ULL could absolutely wring out every drop of available moisture from whatever comes ashore. It is a terrible setup.
  6. Think I’m going over for the fair this weekend.
  7. And I was wrong. Unless a rogue shower moves through, we will end up at .92.
  8. Sorry but that's a hilarious picture. Looks like some kind of stoned cookie monster or something.
  9. Line of garden variety storms passed through earlier. Some gusty winds and a few lightning bolts. Might be the last widespread storms of the year?
  10. Pig ridge stretching from International Falls to Iceland?
  11. Looks like things are about over here. I'll double check tomorrow but I believe we're at 2.78 in. That's more rain than has fallen in the last 3 months. I wonder if they'll be time for the brown grass to Green up a little bit before the heavy Frosts set in
  12. 72/70 Frogs hopping around post monsoon, air is perfectly dank and moist, no jackets or sweatshirts needed..beautiful!

  18. 1.62" and one more batch to get through. Near perfect with the .25" via heavy drizzle Tues night and Wed to soften the hard dry ground and break the surface tension so the goodies could soak in. Better than a 2" burst from a tstorm on baked ground that mostly runs off the hills.
  19. If this was snow I would have died. Ten times worse than Juno here. We managed to get a foot here out of that "bust."
