  1. Past hour
  2. Pushing into 8 too. That’s a better visual.
  3. Another picture my son took on his ride today.
  4. @WxUSAF should stop creating threads. He created the failing frontal passage for tonight and the cold rain in December!
  5. 18z GFS hits Michigan pretty good around hour 240. Nice to at least see something with decent QPF in the area. LES is great but it would be nice to see a big one at least once this winter.
  6. I love how we argue models and then it just happens and we move on. NAM has fucked me many times with a coastal low with snow and goes out to sea.
  7. 12k NAM big hit triangle NE into SE Virginia
  8. Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve been NAM’d
  9. This is alot different sounding than what a certain MET was sounding like earlier. I guess two different ideas. Very interesting.
  10. Is it primarily from lake effect squalls?
  11. I’ve done Old Rag at least ten times. I’ll let you know when I go though I doubt it will be before the permit season starts March 1. It also always includes a trip to the Coppet Fox distillery in Sperryville.
  12. Snow should pass safely south of DC. Godspeed little snow.
  13. The mix has gone over to all snow here, just starting to stick/accumulate. 32.2/29.5.
  14. Tell ya what. It won’t take a lot of precip tomorrow night to make roads extremely slick considering we should settle around 30 by daybreak.
  15. NAMs got the front magic for Friday night
  16. Yes I’m on mobile. I rarely get on PC for this forum. Appreciate the heads up, somebody should fix that lol .
  17. Southern most part of Salem. Right at the T intersection of Salem, East Lyme & Montville.
  18. It's really good. Never hiked there. In college, many, many years ago, it was Cunningham locally and Shenandoah/Big Meadows area on weekend trips. Always wanted to hike Old Rag, but never got around to it.
  19. Don't want the brutal cold and CF pinned to ACK...give me marginal with frigid SSTs.
  20. That would be nice considering the back to back misses.
  21. It brings some reality to those who act as if, if not expect, the world is going to end. Just ridges and troughs waxing and waning this year on the Conus.
  22. I'm going to take a big interest in that pretty quickly if it keeps that up and other guidance follows suit...has my attention. I love, love , LOVE the fact that we poised to head into a strong east QBO/cool ENSO finish with potential strat implications and SSTs about as cold as can be.
