  1. Past hour
  2. With all the rain recently and the warmer temps incoming, should start getting some good progress on tomatoes. Garden at the house has been humming along. Lettuce has done really well and the peas are ready to go now too. Herbs are going gangbusters. We have so much mint and thyme now. I'm looking forward to some mojitos in the summer with some steaks
  3. First 90 in the books in Maytown - got up to an even 91 today. Lack of smoke/haze got it done.
  4. Maxed out at 81F here. I had figured 85-86.
  5. Back in high school lol. I just make edibles for evening walks these days. I'm actually happy about the warmer nights. My 16 tomato plants have been dormant since I planted them.
  6. Picked up almost 2 inches of rain in my area. We had 2 quick squalls come through early this afternoon, and a torrential downpour an hour ago, and still now raining moderately. Looks like we gonna have a wet June too.
  7. How confident are so. E that we'll get rain this Friday and weekend? Trying to decide if I'm going to put fertilizer down or not.
  8. 87 seems to be my high. Anyone who celebrates 90 degrees is a commie lol
  9. Today
  10. not saying that at all.. but 75 to 80 and not humid is fine.. I just dont get the 90/75 fetish then have 10 acs running
  11. Stash restoration? Pretty warm today all around. Felt kind of nice as the humidity isn't overly oppressive....yet 84 for a high after a low of 61. Already down to 79 in the neighborhood. Currently 86 at work
  12. If you read the SPC convective outlooks leading up to that event, you will notice several interesting things: 1.) SPC went 30% probabilistic on D3. That's anomalous. 2.) The Day 3 and Day 2 mentioned negative tilted upper low. . .in June. Red flag that we're dealing with a potent event. 3.) We closed well on this event: dynamics and instability. Had we had even an hour or two of legitimate, full sun then it would've been a top 10 tornado day in this region. To me, that event is the benchmark for non-tropical tornado days in these parts.
  13. I hate working in the heat. Today was rough because I'm not use to it yet. It felt kinda good though. I chose to work outside so it is what it is. I just schedule shorter days and take more breaks. Shameless Plug: Softwashing commercial and residential buildings. Wood deck restoration . Paver restoration Stucco restoration.
  14. Just one 90 degree max reported from NJWXNET. Lots of 87-89 maxes.
  15. Sunday was cold, remember I was showing Mansfield was low-30s with strong wind and it’s a good 1000ft lower than Katahdin. That night was cold too.
  16. I’ve tried to summit that mountain several occasions that failed. One was pretty scary.
  17. 82F and breezy here, nice June day.
  18. I knew it was gonna be very close for my location, and we did touch 90 here. We'll see if we can get a heat wave here. Definitely low 90s tomorrow, but Friday is gonna be close. I say we'll pull it off.
  19. Going up Wachusett tomorrow!
  20. "Baxter State Park director Kevin Adam said the weather at Mount Katahdin on Sunday was cloudy with rain, sleet, and winds reaching 30 to 40 miles per hour. Similar conditions were reported on Monday, he said.
  21. Old timer story, back in the day my older brother had a black Volkswagen beetle. When he wasn't around I would hotwire it and drive a bunch of my friends around a backfield. When it would run out of gas there was still enough gas to run the heater (The heater ran on gas without the engine running) we would roll up the windows and see how hot we could get. Little boys, never smart no matter the generation.
  22. 88/52 Can we get 90F? 29% RH is how I like my heat.
