The weather people just said Greenville Airport SC has recorded 1" freezing rain.

8.5” total, 5.5” pure snow plus 2 inches of snow/sleet mix, and 1” pure sleet. Shoveling is brutal. I didn’t finish.

7” in Brooklyn, temp 10F; puking snow!!

You're getting fooled by Pivotal weather. Use QPF and temperature at available levels (700mb, 850mb) plus an estimate of ratios to guestimate snowfall.

I guess we'll see if the mix line makes it to I84, but in terms of mixing in and around the city that's been pretty obvious on most models for days.

Would make this a pretty cool event. As is the low 20s and unbelievable sledding aren’t all bad. Actually flurrying again here

I never expected to be so grateful for sleet. FR holding off west Richmond so far, 2-3" sleet. Expect to see ice on shrubs soon, but so far they are dry and clear. Weather Underground app calls for precip to end around 8 PM. We can hope!
