  1. Past hour
  2. there is far more complaining about complaining than there is complaining
  3. I really like the fact that this weekend is compared to the 12/26/2010 analog. If this storm develops anything like that Christmas storm, most all of NC will be most happy.
  4. Enough to know to throw a tarp down first in these trying times.
  5. Ended up with just over 9".... busted low as the the jackpot zone lined up WNW of here (SE Cincy) and ran right up thru Dayton-Columbus....honestly, 9" was enough -- not missing the extra 6"
  6. Some peaceful pictures on a cold morning. CP and cardinals puffing up to keep warm in Kentucky.
  7. I'm kind of glad models are south and east at this point. Means we don't have to be bombarded with snow maps every 5 seconds and then every 3 seconds when you get the Kuchera showing 40"
  8. people don't see a very obvious and direct hit, they get emotionally downtrodden, then ... interpret the models according to that emotive response. check.
  9. Looks great. Can you snap the same picture on Sunday morning for us!?
  10. Wasn't aimed at you lol. For crying out loud all these repetitive morons with the same bs posts over and over again. Sure, it looks bleak but this is what we do. You know darn well all these negative people still will be in the thread every minute following every run until Friday. As far as I'm concerned, knowing full well things are not trending well at the moment, that there is still an eternity left before this is completely dead. You can't talk in absolutes in anything especially meteorology when you"re still 4 days out.
  11. Yeah, you’ll want to see significant trends from multiple models by tomorrow night to instill any confidence of this being favorable for much of SNE.
  12. Nah, these west 'leaning' members in this depiction would rage from D.C. to BOS
  13. IMO the OTS idea is the bigger concern…she wants to slide SE at the moment. Obviously that could change being where we are in lead time…but the vast bulk of modeling today is SE currently.
  14. This thread in the last day has had edging and glazing. How many of those videos have you seen?
  15. Cape Hatteras has only received two 12" or above snowstorms: December 29-30, 1917 12.0" (NYC: 2.0") December 23-24, 1989 13.3" (NYC: None)
  16. Even the west leaning members on ICON ENS wouldn’t get it done. I’m starting to waver on this threat.
