Went up to 3,300ft and hit snowflakes around 3,000ft. No accumulation but legit snowing at 3,200ft+. Summit cam shows accumulation at 4,000ft. I wasn’t in a position to get over there and man, that was some brutal weather conditions to be outside in for 2 hours. Walking through wind driven rain 1500-3000ft to see some flakes, ha. Was thoroughly cold and wet when I hit the car again.

I bumped my fireplace on for about 15 minutes this morning…was 64 degrees in the room. Rained most of the day and picked up .42” of rain.

Thank you for your professional and mature explanation. I have various oaks. Some species certainly worse than others. I should post pics here and see what you can identify.

Catkins that hold the male pollen. Some of them are 4-5". Looks like Kev will be fighting the acorn battle in 2026 (red oak acorns take 2 years to mature). Just cloudy here, maybe get wet by 9-10 this evening.
