For sure…I mean it’s purely for entertainment purposes. The rug pulls are epic for the coastals especially. So tenuous. . -

Definitely not GFS like. Gets some light stuff in the vicinity around hour 69 -
I'll take "never" for $500 Alex!

Euro ai h5 track is actually pretty good though tbh -
The GFS is the only one that stuck to the big hit idea, all the others moved off of it. We can all see where this is going when the GFS is on its own. When was the last time it scored a coup when it was on its own? I honestly don't remember
-
can’t get one coastal storm to go our way lol… that’s about it ready for spring mode. Over this winter was nothing but wasted cold and fantasy storms
-
and anything light is not going to accumulate unless it's at night-it's not all that cold

What I can say with confidence is, it isn't sharp as the GFS and probably won't have the same outcome -

Capital Weather Gang: We're going to get out ahead of this because we know we'll get questions. No, we do not believe the GFS (American) model (just in), which shows 3 feet of snow for DC Sunday-Monday. It is ranked 4th for accuracy for a reason + not supported by other models which generally show a modest event. We'll post our analysis of what's most likely early afternoon today. Posted 11a Thursday. -

What if it don't pull the rug -
Yeah… if the AIFS and UKMET are right, that wave-spacing is just gonna kill any possibility the feature can turn the corner fast enough. really need that lead wave to slow down, the one from Canada to speed up or some combination thereof. Right now, they’re perfectly spaced so as to kill any chance of doing something for places like NYC, at least as depicted on those models
-
Defintely. Did not word my response the best. At 72 GFS trof is negative, ALL OTHER guidance is positive and progressive.
-
Clock is ticking, but there’s still 6 weeks of snow threats up here. The driveway is opening up finally though. The last 2 days have been nicer than the Jan warmup at least up here. Full sun and 40+.

GFS has to obviously be assumed to be the outlier and ignored. Will cave at some point and never come back. Which is awful considering we are at like 80hrs
