Very solid soaking here, just over 2 inches. I hope coming into June we finally turn this corner and get into summer mode.

We were so dry during the fall and winter with a huge deficit that the ground has been absorbing all of this rain during the spring without any creek flooding until today as you said. It’s been like a sponge. Happy the groundwater is certainly recharged now heading into the summer. I’m happy for the farmers in the Valley as well. Thankfully, it’s going to be in the 80s next week and sunny for a few days next week. . -
0.64” of rain 8.64” for month .
-
Low 54 degrees, we picked up .24” from the storm. Wind was only 6mph. That’s 2 events that we lucked out and missed the heavy rain. Mow # 11 complete yesterday. Was mowing every 3 days beginning of the season. Now mowing every 5 days.
-
Up to 2.49” now that there’s a break in the steady rain, 9.26” for May

1.73” for the event and 8.33” for the month, not as insane as a number of you for the monthly total, but still insane! Mid 50s with wrap around rain this morning on the backside of the low is just odd. This is the strangest May I can ever remember. . -
Temperature departure at MDT through yesterday now stands at 0.00 thanks to the cool down from the last 2 weeks. Below normal temperatures are forecast for the last day of May today, so we should put yet another Below normal month in the books this year.

This happened around 1:30am I was sleeping didn't hear a thing here. and i'm about 2 miles (as the crow flies) from this. Outside of Berrysburg between square and St John's Road Another post on Facebook from someone: The entire valley is covered in debris. Trees have fallen, mailboxes were in the road, chairs, lawn displays, etc. I traveled between Eville, Mbg, Dalmatia, etc this morning. It was insane the amount of stuff all in the road.

Mike Gorse, fwiw,--the current point forecast for Ancient Oaks in Lehigh County does not display the current flood warning- strangeIt maybe because Its for Perkiomen stream only and not the Little lehigh. I guess Thanks -
Well, Happy Birthday to those having one yesterday or today! lol

0.35. Just enough to delay mowing.

Low of 55 with .66” of rain. -
Only 0.13 fell here from several different showers, some quite gusty in late afternoon. So, I will fall short of the monthly record of 8.03" with 7.99" it appears. I have twigs, limbs and leaves everywhere this am, it will be a clean-up day.

It also depends if it's actually a hot summer with a lot of 90 degree days or merely a very warm summer with artificially inflated averages because of higher mins.

2.25 inches of rain at my house - Spring Creek is at flood stage and rising quickly. Been a long time since we have reached flood stage. Yes I will declare this drought over guys at this time. These long duration rains are now bringing up the base flows of the streams. Corn is coming up nicely in my area of Lehigh County. If the farmer is trying to plant it now, it could be a loss. The loss however is not just the rain but with the extreme cooler temps. Usually by now, we have temps in the mid to upper 80's with a few days of 90's. In fact, we maybe back in the 40's for overnight lows and highs only in the upper 60's for June 1 ------ Coolest I have seen for us in June but it does save on the AC bills. But after Wednesday, we go back into the oven. Watch the mold counts grow big time. -
No one wants any more rain, it's good to see it sent somewhere else.
