  1. Past hour
  2. Good, moderate burst with good sized flakes going on here. Grass and Jeep getting white. Of course, not expecting much, but it's a wintry prelude of what's likely to come in 36-48 hours. Unless the models do a total flip, I expect a watch to be issued by supper time.
  3. Let’s hope it’s not a comedy routine like last year.
  4. Measured just over 7” here in the east metro (Woodbury) .
  5. AI is still a work in progress but it has been doing well.
  6. Back to what we do best at 36 and rain
  7. Back edge upon me, hasn’t flipped from ra/ip mix. But was still fun. Onto the next!
  8. It’s shoetastic out there.
  9. For the coast that is..inland does well, which is climo for early December
  10. GEFS did well a month ago when the MJO was still in 6. But EPS is now catching up in forecast performance since we went into 7. And don’t sleep on the AIFS ensembles for mid-latitude 500mb at 6-15 days out. It’s been wiping the floor lately.
  11. That's correct... presuming temps at 5-6A are 31. Am not absolutely sure they will. be that cold in the cities. EC AI slightly warmer. No matter, intensity at onset matters. Also, by the time this gets here, I would think DPW's have treated cities to make it easier for the urban centers of I95. Otherwise some troubles lurk for the interior, including wet snow acc of 4" or more causing a few tree limbs to break s CT to NNJ
  12. Looks like we will be in phase 8 all December. Paul Roundy thinks we will be cold through January .
  13. Heads up, the snow burst down here in Baltimore was decent. Some folks west of I-95might get a quick dusting or coating out of thus before it flips.
  14. Light snow..dusting in Dillsburg..Looks like we are kicking off a great stretch of winter weather! Cold, snowy December..it's about time!
  15. What a way to end the 2025 Hurricane Season.
  16. Flakes a flying in Exton! I have a family funeral Tuesday so yeah I am planning on a 3-6" event which will be fun to walk through the cemetery in nice shoes.
  17. With temps along 95 being below 32F before sunrise and maybe 1" of snow falling, there could be accumulation on roads which impacts the morning rush hour before temps go above 32F and precip changes to rain and the indirect sun aids in melting.
