Starting to flurry at work in Spotsylvania.

Looks more like a winter wonderland than feb 22 ever did

Kinda dumping in Greenbelt. Borderline heavy snow (vis 1/4mi or less).

heavy snow now, everything but the road is covered. 30/21. I didn't expect this and so am so pleased--the flakes are bigger now and it's so pretty and peaceful.

Much better than I expected this morning.

I don't get excited about enso before the summer, but if that is real...well if that is real and we don't break out of this snow funk I give up.

Adult son's birthday is 3/25. I can remember AT LEAST 2 years since 2012 it snowed on his Bday!

It says it’s 39 degrees and snow has started falling in Spotsy. That makes this a win in my book.

1:45pm Columbia: It took 45 painful minutes to go from off/on snowtv ….. to steady snow/small flakes. Immediate mulch stickage. Went from late morning high of 35 to current 33.8 with temps slowly falling now in the steady snow.

Last time I’ll post this but getting tired of this look on radar. Genuinely so interested as to how a gradient this sharp forms and holds for an hour!

Cloudy and 34.3 degrees. Shocking that the southern lowlanders are doing better than the northern lowlanders.

We continue to see weather models, led by the European model not really catch onto what actually happens until 24 hours out at least. This has got to improve in order to make plans for travel, outdoor activities etc. etc. The European model caught on much quicker which isn't a surprise. Plain rain here in the Richmond area which is fine, except we were the "bull's-eye" with this small event for days and days and days lol.

SN 30 .5" so far. Cloud depth must not be to deep as rooftops which usually accumulate well are struggling to accumulate

I have been in shorts tee shirts twice this past week.

if you want to, id need it in like the next few hours. but if its missing a bunch of small stuff then dont bother, i think theres cocorahs in weymouth i can use. or at least surrounding areas.
