  1. Past hour
  2. Finished with 3.4" for this event.
  3. Don’t underrate the impact this accumulation may have on tomorrow. At least in areas that got snow today. It could definitely keep things 1-2 degrees cooler overnight which can be a factor tomorrow in a setup like this
  4. Heavy white rain. 34 IMBY. Nice bright banding on the radar.
  5. I just wonder if we will get an actual CPK measurement.
  6. Yea, I have been aggressive on this from the get-go, aside from when I got skiddish last night, but I don't see enough evidence that the kicker will allow this to congeal enough in the vicinity of our area to have those mid levels close quickly enough.
  7. Nice to hear from you Walt. We miss you.
  8. How do we know you’re not an AI bot from the future, here to warn us about snowless 70 degree January days in Central Park in the year 2029?
  9. Snow is winding down....temp bumped up to 32.6⁰. Finally tally for rd 2, 2.8", first rd 1.6"....total 4.4" Snow is caked to everything, wish we could keep that look the rest of winter..
  10. Final total here 3.4". Exceeded my expectations. Was thinking 1.5" for an upper limit as of yesterday afternoon. Truly exceeded expectations in and around NYC. We'll add more tomorrow and whatever is on the ground at the end of the day tomorrow will stick around for a while with upcoming Arctic surge. Going to look and feel wintry around here for a while. So much for the January pause.
  11. 3-4 inches tomorrow. 1-2 inches today. Pretty solid 36 hours for NYC if tomorrow pans out. .
  12. Snow has ended here, just under 2 inches OTG. Currently 30F.
  13. I love taking vacations to Atlantic coast beaches in (checks notes)….Texas!
  14. terrible! have not seen a plow in hours, but they were throwing sparks the other day when it was wet... I'm at 6" even btw and going to start cleaning
  15. Kutchera more realistic given temps. Take off half inch for today.
  16. Started as white rain in Chester/Deep River CT but has flipped to snow.
  17. Not good here either. My friend had to drive from Greenfield to Swanzey, NH and he said Rt 10 and Rt 63 were brutal.
  18. Yeah this morning was okay but a tad underwhelming
  19. We'll see...gotta slow the flow down some...will be tough to pull off if that doesn't happen.
