  1. Past hour
  2. Toledo had an average temperature of 58.2. It was the 9th warmest October
  3. I’ve been below freezing 2 times this fall but I’m right next to the pike barrens. 29.8 on 10/25
  4. OK folks. I am slipping. I MISSED 15 INCHES OF SNOW LAST NIGHT AT MAMMOTH! I can't even BELIEVE I was not even AWARE of the heavy snowfall! I am so heartbroken! I think one reason I missed the snow was because I was delivering from midnight to 5am. It was SUPER BUSY!
  5. Actually had steady rain all afternoon and it's moderate to heavy at times over the last hour. After modeling backed off and rain chances from MRX crashed from 90 percent down to 30 percent, I figured the writing was on the wall and we'd be dry or get a sprinkle at best.
  6. lol that's up to Lamar. He might want to move on given the current state of this team. Even though he is perceived by some as being a bit past his prime given his style of play, and injury prone(today was not an example), he will have multiple suitors. Maybe Lamar should have agreed to an extension, or maybe EDC did a shitty job trying to get that done. Who knows. At this point his future as a Raven is up in the air.
  7. Yeah, off the charts warmth across the entire Northern Hemisphere and the Arctic leading to yet another daily global high temperature record.
  8. Noticed one of the Azaleas in backyard had some new flowers blooming today .
  9. The freaky thing is the lack of any even semblance of cold air anywhere across conus or even central and eastern Canada. It's just a total torch anywhere that's not Siberia or the high arctic right now. The snow levels with the current storm in the rockies are an absurd 11,000 ft. It's like the tropics moved to Colorado lol.
  10. Islip has a good chance of approaching or setting a new latest first freeze given the record warmth for November across North America. Latest First/Freeze Summary for ISLIP-LI MACARTHUR AP, NY Each section contains date and year of occurrence, value on that date. Click column heading to sort ascending, click again to sort descending. 2022 03-30 (2022) 25 11-15 (2022) 29 229 1984 04-10 (1984) 30 11-15 (1984) 29 218 2016 04-10 (2016) 32 11-14 (2016) 32 217 1994 04-23 (1994) 32 11-12 (1994) 32 202 1981 04-22 (1981) 32 11-12 (1981) 31 203 1977 04-11 (1977) 32 11-12 (1977) 32 214 2005 04-17 (2005) 30 11-11 (2005) 30 207 2024 03-24 (2024) 30 11-10 (2024) 32 230 2017 03-30 (2017) 32 11-10 (2017) 26 224
  11. Unseasonable warmth will prevail through much of the first week of November. Dry conditions will likely persist until late in the week. The potential exists for a 1.00" or greater rainfall Friday into Saturday. Behind the storm, cooler but not especially cold air will move into the region during the weekend or early next week. The ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly was +5.2°C and the Region 3.4 anomaly was +3.4°C for the week centered around October 14. For the past six weeks, the ENSO Region 1+2 anomaly has averaged +5.08°C and the ENSO Region 3.4 anomaly has averaged +3.22°C. ENSO Region 3.4 breaks the all-time record most recently set in the prior week. The ongoing strong El Niño, will continue to strengthen through the mid-fall. The SOI was -3.31 today. The preliminary Arctic Oscillation (AO) was +0.277 today.
  12. One thing EDC did right although it wasn't intentional lol.
  13. Decent chance we won't see Lamar on the field again this season. I guess there are a few young players that will get a shot now. Adam Randall being one- the owner's pick. Henry isnt what he once was esp behind this OL. The young TEs need more playing time. Andrews looks pretty bad. Another EDC decision that doesnt look good.
  14. Good thing the Ravens didn't trade their #1 draft pick
  15. Today
  16. DeCosta needs to be held accountable for this OL. Inexcusable, despite the injuries at center. None of those guys were the answer after Linderbaum walked. EDC failed to draft / build even a mediocre line. The result has been catastrophic.
  17. LOL Dallas Sorry @MN Transplant and @aldie 22 re Minnesota
  18. Lamar headed to IR, to have thumb surgery https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/50349558/ravens-lamar-jackson-rest-game-thumb-injury
  19. Most people are going low for this year, and I think they will be right. But for shits and giggles, I’ll throw this out there: BWI: 29” DCA: 24” IAD: 38” RIC: 11” SBY: 13”
  20. Thanks, Anthony, for posting that. I don’t disagree with this post done by Luzerne County. What I mean by that is IF there were to happen to be an actual H5 similar to that, it could favor a snowstorm then. But, and this is very important: this is as it says just the control run for EW hour 912 (0Z on 12/9/26) rather than the EW mean for hour 912. So, this is like an op Euro at hour 912, which of course has no forecasting skill and will change notably from run to run the vast majority of the time. For that matter, I’d say this about hour 312 or even earlier of the op Euro or op anything. I know you know this, but you may not realize this is just the near worthless way out in the extended control run. They clearly want clicks and thus was a bad post by Luzerne County imho. A more informative post by Luzerne County, even though it is still way way out there, would have shown the EW means for the week covering that period, Dec 7-13: H5: 2m temps: Precip: Not the worst pattern by any means but far from great. @mitchnick
  21. Can't get mad at Fagnano struggling in his first regular season action behind such a horrid offensive line that already allowed for the two QBs higher up on the depth chart to get pummeled. Also Malaki Starks has to be one of the biggest first round DB busts in history, dude got absolutely eviscerated on a route by the friggin TE
  22. Seems the pattern has been to push rain further and further out. Meanwhile mid-70s arrive again this week.
  23. That's not what Euro site shows. https://charts.ecmwf.int/products/extended-anomaly-z500?base_time=202611010000&projection=opencharts_north_america&valid_time=202612140000
