  2. Yeah euro has had a big mid/long range warm bias the last month. I’m sure that will start verifying in time for winter lol
  3. The 95 last year was the one day at 90 plus in the period as was the 91 in 2023, same in 2019, 19th at EWR. There have been a few with no or one/two days of 90s of late in the period. We'll see if we can nudge 1 - 3 more in Sep.Oct.
  4. Ouch... All 3 ens means only average to about an inch of rain over the next two weeks Sent from my SM-S166V using Tapatalk
  5. Friday just reminds me of one of those 'clippers' we get in modern winters that starts out further south in the long range, but eventually ends up north of the St Lawrence river . meh
  6. Euro Skynet is meh. So we meh for now
  7. This really topped off this beautiful month. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZTHGT7mffUucj-2N0CI/
  8. 0z Euro EPS had some good members.. 6z is meh
  9. 63 / 51 the nice stretch marches on. Upper 70s / low 80s the rule the next 3 - 5 days and dry and partly - sunny conditions. Next shot t rain is Tue-Wed as trough cuts off under the ridge and a steady stream os SE flow into the region, we'll see what it can deliver. Overall warmer beyond there - next shot at heat into the 4 - 11 period , nothing major or extreme just warmer than normal and ridge building in.
  10. Another absolutely fantastic Chamber of Commerce day. Unlimited visibility. Arctic blue sky. Man what an incredible August. Huge surf as well. Will go down as my favorite August ever. Hot sun but low dews, cool summer nights with tons of baseball softball games to watch outdoors with no bugs. Daughters team won a chip in the Willimantic league. They are headed to Vegas for the nationals. What a month of Chamber
  11. What's really encouraging to me is how temps cool as we get closer to the forecast period. For example, last Tuesday's Euro weeklies' forecast for the week starting 9/1 is on top and yesterday's is on the bottom. This isn't the first time. As I showed earlier in this thread, the week of 8/25 progressively got colder as we got closer.
  12. Amazing what low dewpoints can do when given the opportunity. The soupy air is one of the reasons why even rural areas can't cool down properly at night anymore.
  13. I saw some personal weather stations near Grayling in the upper 20's. Definitely cold for this time of the year.
  14. Wow, that’s impressive. How close to a record is that if you know?
  15. I just researched this further. This is the source for the “monthly record low”: https://coolwx.com/record/ According to it, PDK (not ATL), which coolwx also calls “Atlanta”, did actually have an unofficial monthly record low this morning with its 55 as that broke its monthly record low of 55.4 (2004). But these PDK records go back only 44 years (1981 or 1982). To compare, KATL had a 56 on 8/14/2004. So, the KPDK 55 in August of 2004 does jibe well with the KATL official 56 then.KPDK Atlanta, GA United States 55.0 59.0 55.4 -5.8 (2013) (2004) (1985) -4.0 44 KPDK It’s not an official KATL monthly record low, which is 55 (1992 and 1986). Their low this morning was 60 vs daily record low of 57. Per this, PDK (same as Chamblee) actually got down to 54 for the low:CHAMBLEE CLEAR 57 52 83 N3 30.22R TC 14 6HR MIN TEMP: 54

  17. Yeah I hope so, honestly I have a feeling we got some October 80s coming this year too. Very much so, it feels like its been several years since we had a good one.
  18. Not sure about others, but I did. Low was 46.3 here, new record for date. Old mark was 51 degrees from 1982.
  19. Yeah its like a bowl where it is, very misleading for temps in the area but true to its location. 50 again last night for a low here. I see that Grayling was 33 last hour up north, pretty wild for this time of year.
  20. We hit 56 this morning south of ATL. Not sure what the record low is. Windows are OPEN!!!!!!
  21. Today
  22. Man they can radiate well! I wish there was a camera there too.
