1.) If you're referring to the WGAL radar, it went offline due to a variety of issues. 2.) If you're referring to the Climavision radar at Millersville University, it's not available to the general public. Millersville University and the National Weather Service have access to it. Don’t forget the thin gold necklace, parachute pants and K-Swiss kicks. -
Who needs late January when you can have late March.

38 now. This blows. Hard to do real yard work when it’s this cold

Yep, BDCF season. Warm up for a day or two & then back to onshore flow.

Cold today but the sun is strong

Let's see how this plays out. Imo, it's amping Nino 3/3.4 vs the far east -
When I was in Boy Scouts I had one of those Coleman propane lamps, that thing would heat my tent right up.
- Today

I was in town at the gym yesterday evening and there was a nice storm roll through. I walked out to puddles and the air seemed clearer. I get home to just a few drops. Hope the rain chances for late next week keep trending our way. Not the best timing, but we need it.

Stormchaserchuck1 replied to Stormchaserchuck1's topic in Weather Forecasting and Discussion
This is interesting.. this is March before a later in the year El Nino. Nice south-based +PDO orientation in the N. Pacific. Nino 4 also starts warming early, which we are seeing now Could be basin-wide -
That’s grid collapse just in time for Easter

Phoenix's hottest March on record is nearing an end. This space will provide numerous highlights. Some things that are virtually certain: 1) March 2026 will have a mean temperature that would rank it as the second warmest April. 2) Prior to 2026, the average record high maximum temperature for March 16-31 was 96.6°. The March 16-31 period will have an average high temperature that exceeds that average. 3) Phoenix tied or exceeded its March monthly record high temperature on 9 days. 4) In terms of statistical anomalies related to monthly mean temperatures, the Phoenix monthly mean temperature will easily surpass the December 2015 mean in New York City relative to each city's historical climate record. The above is an AI-generated artistic rendition of the March 2026 heat in Phoenix.

At least it's sunny. But yea, the variance in temps this month has been wild...and a perfect example of why medians/modes should be used when evaluating the central tendency of weather here.
-
Why can’t those days be next Friday to Sunday lol.

Those days look nice n Dewey . Should get some nice wipes in Tuesday/ Wednesday
