    Well this is a first for me, someone on mPing has reported a mudslide down near the border just west of Shrewsbury. Also looks like snow has already moved into Cumberland Co.

    Definitely ice stuff going on. I confirmed by standing on my balcony and facing the Catoctin’s while the pingers collected on my hoodie. I must say it was rather unpleasant after a few seconds.

    I assumed that was what they meant because it made the most sense for the tornado cig levels; cig 1 hatching, you would expect EF2s if storms develop, etc. I could be reading between the lines too much, though.

    I thought CIG was "reasonable max intensity" not "this is what we expect"? Given that DCA gusted to 68mph - that's right up there and not sure an additional 7mph would have caused a appreciable difference in damage. But not sure.

    The front is moving through here with some pretty impressive gusts. Nothing too crazy but we did briefly lose power. Temp plummeting as expected.

    I was kind of shocked that they didn't include one more tier west of counties. I guess they were relying heavily on the boiler plate "in AND around the watch area"
