  1. Past hour
  2. I would first like to train the birds not to crap on my car after eating berries...
  3. This looks primed to take off. Ingested a bit of junk convection but if it can stay clean it'll be in a good environment.
  4. The upper atmosphere could be a bit chill. Can't rule out a shower. WX/PT
  5. Yesterday

  7. I’m not sure what we are freaking discussing here. If the models show its was going to be above normal, then we would talk about it being above normal. Every major global ensemble looks to be -5 to -10 for most of the next 2 weeks. I’m not rooting for it, just discussing what the forecast is. Looks to be active as well, with nice days mixed in. Jeez…
  8. What website did you use for that airport information? It's pretty cool.
  9. Yea it still hasn't gotten started here yet. We've had a couple days of 100+ and then it's being knocked down to the 80s and lower 90s for several days. Last week we even had multiple mostly overcast days. This upcoming week it looks like we might get our warmest days of the year Wednesday through Friday with highs topping out around 104, but cooling down again after with another trough approaching.
  10. Arnett, Oklahoma area, chasers reported a tornado and up to 3.5" hail
  11. What’s above 850-specifically h5. A cold pool has messed up many a beautiful day.
  12. Not really, it was warm through most of the country. Only the Pacific coast saw below average temperatures, and it wasn't by much:
  13. Man you live in the tropics. When you blow away Bradley by 8° that's saying something.
  14. Just got back from a couple hours on the bike near Centennial and saw at least 2 of those storms form right overhead and move quickly to the northeast. They're going from nothing to nasty/starting to rotate in 30 minutes. Missed getting hailed on (0.5-0.6" hail at our house) by about 10 minutes ... one more reason to wear a helmet.
  15. large tornado north of Scott City KS (Elkader)
  16. Lets just toss data that doesn't suite our agenda.
  17. I know it says snow but I know this doesn't show that.. but look at the temps.. awesome for 5pm at the end of May
  18. A couple chilly mornings on tap. Freeze warnings out for NE MN n N WI.
  19. Turned out to be a beautiful sunny day here. BDR with the high of 76.
  20. Add me to the list. Extended periods of clouds and intermittent rain don't do much for me. Hopefully only 2 days of total ass this week and we muddle through the rest.
  21. Agreed, that’s the rub. The 35F to 75F or 40F to 82F with wall-to-wall sun this is not. Low diurnal change, with clouds and some rain. Dry periods still fine outdoors but not beautiful. We’ll get through it, ha.
  22. It felt like it was 50 miles when you walk with kids
  23. I won’t lie, maybe you’ve seen more data but about half the days the next two weeks look like a 925-850 flow out of an easterly component. The other half is N/W. Which I think is why most are talking about the same weather. You’re just more positive on anything that isn’t straight May 2005. Others are like it’s not the nicest it could be.
  24. You’ll def get that. Even a cool summer will sit in the mid to upper 80s. For 3+ months.
  25. But in late May reality says it’s a few days like today with clouds/ sunny breaks and 60’s - near 70 but mainly dry other than the fropa . And the nice days are 73-78 .
  26. I think the 2m 40s are overdone, but I still think it’s a lot of clouds, showers, and 50s to near 60. I just want some damn ridging and days of sfc highs even if it means 35° type mornings. I can’t take the clouds and frequent rain much more. This weather is making me radicalized.
