  1. Past hour
  2. Yep. Should be an epic morning in SENE. Not all that enthusiastic for anything too exciting here at this point. Will probably get into some decent fronto banding at some point but I foresee lots of CCB exhaust.
  3. I know generally the storm is going to move northeast, but since the ULL/trough has already gone negative (from what I have read), why wouldn't the storm be pulled closer to the coast? Or is it but not enough to affect more of eastern PA?
  4. We need the low to take a more NNE track to get optimum results.
  5. Moderate to heavy snow now for the past few hours. Up to 3" now. 31 degrees
  6. They can’t even compete in our fourth best sport. .
  7. What’s your temp? 31 and holding. Which is a good temp where I come from.
  8. But he is one of the best ever despite that stat…period.
  9. 32° in Edgewater Moderate snow with it accumulating on everything but the roads so far, although they are starting to get slushy.
  10. Neighborhood roads caving in Fairfax. Apparently non-weather nerds don't use the word caving like we do. My English teacher friends have been asking me for updates all day, and they were confused when I said my deck was caving. LOL.
  11. Which radar is this ? I would like the link and see what it shows for NYC area
  12. Switched over at 4pm. Heavy dusting now. Oldfield point. Cecil county Md.
  13. Is that the source of the alien drones over NJ?
  14. Sidewalks just started to get fully covered on the UWS after 7.5 hours of snow. I do fear for the trees in Riverside Park, which have been snowcovered for hours and are sitting in an absolute swamp.
  15. Really coming down good now. Heavy snow. 31F. Radar looks incredible.
  16. Streets starting to cave in Astoria Queens. Just took my first measurement. 2/10th of inch.
  17. Winds noticeable now, rates back up, 32.2 road is white, eyeballing 2" on coldest surfaces. Snow flakes size much smaller
  18. At freezing or very close now in Columbia. Ratios should jump up nicely with these rates and flakes.
  19. I've been working in FCPS for over 25 years. They fluctuate in their closings, but they have been burned many times by forecasts of snow that ended up as cold rain. Then parents get pissed. So they often do a delay with a re-evaluation for closing. If the NWS would give us a WARNING, they would go ahead and close. But don't worry. They will probably change it later this evening to give parents a heads-up.
