Digging into the past climate adjustments to Central PA - the same consistent chilling adjustments to the past that produce a warming trend line after these adjustments as we see across most of the U.S. to the historical data NWS data set. Green color is actual raw data....blue is after NOAA/NCEI makes their tweaks. If not for these chilling adjustments to the blue revised average annual temperatures - not much warming if any.

Am I reading this map correctly, temps in the Gulf Stream are below normal pretty much all the way from the coast of the Carolinas to more than midway to the UK?

They might go 9-8 instead of 8-9. They need a QB and next years draft class is promising. They needed to tank this year, but Tomlin would never allow that. So they will probably be just good enough to not get one of the better QB prospects lol. Love to see it as a Ravens fan.

Temp dropped to 88F here and breezy; sea breeze this far inland?

Haven't checked the max-min, probably reached 86-87. Here in the woods, 85 is our heat wave threshold. Fortunately, I got the rest of the sled-trail firewood into the yard by 9:15 AM when it was still under 70.

i just want a hot summer laden with suffering

Was 92F earlier down to 82F now, The installers were able to get one of my units up and running and man does that put out some cold air.

If we could only find some actual real station data to use from someplace close to an actual NWS station that helps support these 1 to 4 degree annual average temp adjustments to these many NWS Cooperative Observer stations....we of course cannot find any of those - hence our problem! But if you have those please produce them as Charlie certainly never can seem to come up with any actual real stations with data....

Chester County PA - Analytical Battle of Actual vs. Altered Climate Data
bdgwx replied to ChescoWx's topic in Climate Change
Discussing the justification for corrections is irrelevant if your position is still that corrections should never be applied to fix biases, errors, and/or mistakes. I'm asking if you still maintain this position because it sounds like you are having second thoughts about it...which is good. But I'm not going to waste my time explaining how we can know what the biases and errors are if you don't think correcting them is ever justified. -
High of 91.5° here at home
