There’s definitely some stuff on radar, but I see an mping report near richmond reporting flakes. I assume it’s too warm and dry, but does anyone see anything? Even rain?

Hopefully we get the 4”+ in Central Park that 7 of 8 times in a Nina led to a snowy winter. The White Christmas was nice for sure but the story of the rest of winter was piddly snow events and cold/dry suppression then cutter/warm for the bigger storms other than the one lucky 4-6” SWFE.

I'm glad all of these lumberjacks and book warms can get in a happy circle and massage their prostates to the amplitude of the trough, but I don't give a rat's ass unless it's noteworthy here, at this point. Maybe 5-8 years ago I could appreciate it, but at this point, close the shades and leave me alone if it does nothing for me.

10" of snow on the Gulf coast last year..I barely got that all of January. Like, enough....just enough. I swear to god, if it happens this season I'm going to absolutely go off of the deep end.

I think my RONI peak was -1 to -1.2. I don't grade that, but do it for $hits and usually nail it.

So, my wife didn't capture it...but as this vid was recording, our 16' diameter trampoline went airborne behind the house into an open lot ~100 yards away. It was completely shredded upon finding it the next day. Thankfully, our only house damage was to our chimney cover. Still, there were several downed trees, some clearly by lightning strikes, and many disheartened children realizing their playgrounds are now rubble. Santa has time to come through though!

Today was the first day that my hands felt legitimately cold while shooting hoops (my rib injury has started to simmer down a bit). Definitely a thick chilly out there today, though we did manage about 60/40 sun here which was a welcome surprise.

That -1.2 is the RONI daily equivalent value, not trimonth, and that seems legit. OTOH, the last released trimonth RONI was -0.78.

The slot is here into eastern VT with lighter, showery snows. But should fill in a bit again.

Guess it’s splitting hairs but it’s already curling back into BTV. Don’t really see a slot there being an issue. Looks like it’ll fill in with that stuff by GFL and ALB still to rotate through.
