Yeah, but this is better than last summer's hell of drought and awful heat, even if the humidity is a little higher.
-
The humidity has been wild this summer.

Just looked and indeed they are. Very slow movers, too. Wayne County in NEPA is also getting it good. With this soup outside, I'm surprised it isn't more widespread, and is pretty much confined to those two locations

July 2025 Discussion-OBS - seasonable summer variability

Thorium, molten salt, lead cooled. sodium cooled, gas cooled, Gen IV reactors all are supposed to produce the more energy with the same amount of fuel as existing reactors. Some can even be re-fueled while still online. Waste products decay in centuries, rather than thousands of years. So far only China has brought 1 Gen IV reactor online. -
Adams County is getting deluged.

That looks horrible but at least you’re drinking. -
Cold front? It's not October. You aren't new here lol. The rest of the month looks miserable. Of course, I dislike summer so of course it's miserable.

Man after the rain the grass really got erect. Like Kevin at bear week in P-Town. -
Wow those are some low dews for July. Looking like a break from the 70 degree dews here for tomorrow. Looks like dews should mix down to near 60 in the afternoon, which is great for the corn belt in mid July. Looking further ahead 80 degree dews are coming the week after next from the looks of things.

Happy Birthday! You're a day behind me (although I'm 1000% sure I've got you on the age thing)

I chose not to go up fearing the SE flow wedging that shit in. Glad I stayed here. -
A surprise and quick 1.26", and a temp drop from 90 to 73. For July, at 5.30" for MBY. DP supposedly hit 79.6 at one point in the early part of the storm.

2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season
WxWatcher007 replied to BarryStantonGBP's topic in Tropical Headquarters
Yeah—I’m really interested to see if the basin takes advantage of what looks like a more favorable sub-seasonal window in late July-early August. I do think that where activity happens could be a good predictor of tropical Atlantic activity during the peak. Despite all the back and forth on here, I don’t think anyone disagrees with an active outlook in the western Atlantic.
