July to date: 7.3" + 0.25" (Friday evening) + 12 BIG drops over the weekend + 1.6" yesterday evening = 9.1" We had 4.6" in June We've lived in this house since '92 and this is one of the wettest June/July periods we've had. Obviously when you get to Aug/Sept some of the tropical events over the years have delivered large amount of rain, but for June/July it's been outstanding this year. I was stuck at JFK from 6pm yesterday for my 830 flight to RDU got pushed backed and again and again and we finally got pushed back at 130am from JFK and got here at 240am. All due to the wx here. I was jealous watching the radar in NY and everyone here telling me what crazy storms they were. Guess Im going to have to leave town more often, ha ha.
