The state of Falls Lake as of 6/21/2026 near Santee Road Point in Durham (Falls Lake is a main source of water for Raleigh).

90, real feel of 109 this afternoon. Just had a quarter inch of rain drop with some storms. Much cooler now.

Really nice line of storms plowing across the north half of NC ATM.  Need it to trend south a bit to hit me.  North Wake could be in the crosshairs.

It fizzled in Durham county before it got to Wake County.  Most impressive part of the storms tonight at work was the outflow boundary gusts were impressive. other than that, NEXT

The wind with that line of storms was white impressive last night even though here in south Greensboro it wasn't nearly as bad as north Greensboro. What was really usual was how long the wind was sustained, 10-15 minutes of winds gusting to 40-50 mph
