Humidity will significantly increase late tonight and Monday as a strong southerly flow develops ahead of low pressure headed our way from the Midwest. In additional to periods of steady rain, the risk for severe thunderstorms will develop across the Southeastern half of the state. There will also be a tornado threat with the stronger storms. A more southern track to the area of low pressure would decrease the region where severe thunderstorms are possible.

ChescoWx
Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there! Plus happy first day of summer which began this morning at 4:24am. Another great weather day is on tap across the area. Temperatures are not far from typical levels for very early summer. Rain chances to ramp up by later tomorrow before we clear out for mid-week. Shower chances return again by Thursday afternoon.
