It’s the same with any outrageous behavior captured on film.  There have always been Karens… since the dawn of time… but now you see video of every single person doing something obnoxious or dumb.  Dumb people making bad decisions have always existed, too.  You just never saw it.

I don’t think people understand the gravity and how our perception has changed on certain things since every human holds an HD camera in their pocket.

And the school system(s) are overwhelmed.  They can't flunk whole grades-worth of bulk bodies. I mean ... my god.  It came about because I was railing on about how since the Industrial Revolution, we've created a societal machinery where people have to think less and less - they're mistakes are cleaned up by the system.. so generational stupification ..etc

He was musing on about how climate change this, nuclear wars that... the next covid or alien invasion ...?  it's all going to pale in comparison when that generation starts inheriting the Earth  "you have no idea" where the apocalypse agent is really hiding.  We laughed in morbid amusement

It is very difficult to obtain an education without being able to read and to comprehend what is read.

People who arent around kids don't realize how bad of an education many kids are receiving....and that includes many parents.

At many schools the daily goal is " Let's not do anything that gets us on the 6 o'clock news"....serious issues are being swept under the rug.
