Hopefully .50 to 1 inch says the WPC. We really need a ton more rain as we near peak sun/heat in a couple months.

We need several long round of slow, soaking rain and unfortunately that just doesn't seem to be in the cards.

We need a sustained, humid airmass. We've basically been living in the Plains the last few years.

Wasn't last July the most humid July on record? We need another month like that, seems like there were thunderstorms every day that month.

Looks like an active pattern coming, but I have a feeling we're gonna pay the price of limited sunshine again. This is one of the reasons I'm craving temps in the 80s and afternoon storms a few days a week.

I've been trying to establish a new lawn these last few weeks, and it has been tough Sorry man, I moved out of Prince Frederick and took the rain (and snow?) with me to the mountains. It really is happening, I knew it would. My old yard in PF is burning up. Driest month ever there since I had started keeping track.
