Shocker, 00z Euro moved precip maximums to PA. We get some, but nothing sustained it seems.

Hopefully .50 to 1 inch says the WPC.

We need several long round of slow, soaking rain and unfortunately that just doesn't seem to be in the cards.

We need a sustained, humid airmass.  We've basically been living in the Plains the last few years.

Wasn't last July the most humid July on record?  We need another month like that, seems like there were thunderstorms every day that month.

Looks like an active pattern coming, but I have a feeling we're gonna pay the price of limited sunshine again.  This is one of the reasons I'm craving temps in the 80s and afternoon storms a few days a week.
