Hard to tell if this is a true cutoff or just distance from radar. Kind of a dead spot radar wise.

Looking at the radar loop, it looks like a hard line right now at least in Berks county.  Good returns aren't making it further west.

I was just about to post this. I think we found the cutoff. Of course Im just barely on the wrong side.

South Mountain runs southwest to northeast on the southern side of that map. South of 78 on the west side of the map and along 78 on the east side. But south Mtn is roughly where this cutoff is. I am on the north side of South Mountain and I’ve seen mostly just light snow. As drought guy has indicated in the past, the mountain does serve as a barrier or enhancer of various types of weather, winter or summer. It’s an interesting place.

I just noticed that the blizzard warnings from 1 pm from Mt. Holly backed off the snowfall amounts vs. their event total map.  It has 13-21" for Sussex-Warren-Morris-Hunterdon-Somerset-Middlesex-Mercer, and 18-24" for Monmouth/Ocean, but the map always had much of NJ at 18-24" with parts of the coast at 24-30"  Not sure how I missed that.  They also have a new map up for "expected snowfall" but that is not "event snowfall" as a few inches have fallen and that map starts at 7 pm.  That bugs me - they should always have an event snowfall map and if they want to add a "how much more from X time" map fine.  Rant over.  Back to enjoying the snow.

Same. Light snow, maybe an inch here. Lol. That’s okay, less cleanup

Wow I might be getting lucky here then. Been moderate snow since about 4:30 here.

Just measured 2” on the cars here.

Just came in from a ride to.pickup my son from his job. Roads are terrible. 4" attn and snowing sideways

Yeah I just walked outside drop something off in the mailbox.  Almost wiped out because of that wet slick layer under the new powdery stuff.  That's enough outdoors for me today lol.

My dang white string lights keep shorting out I assume from the moisture. I hit the reset on the outlet and 45 seconds later, tripped again. Am I the one that has this issue? Pmo

Are they labeled blizzard resistant?

I would 100% help you out, but I don't have white string lights so I got nothing.

Measured 6.1" in Atco. The last two hours or so have been insane.

I have been jealously watching the radar bloom right over your head and then fizzle slightly as the bands hit me in south philly. Snow growth has been good in the last hour though.

About 3 inches in south philly. Had a bit of catching up to do because the urban heat island had surfaces so warm to start. Minimal wind and wet flakes has made it a gorgeous snow so far.

The issue is your Christmas lights are still up and lit.
