I hate when the radar is showing snow but my eyes see nothing.

2.5 inches here in S Charlotte. Not always showing snow on the radar but keeps coming down.
Anyone in Morehead City? Feel like theyre ground zero for snow---theyr'e getting absolutely blasted.

They deserve it more than anyone on this forum

we’re in Surry Co and was wondering if it will make it up our way.

I will be thrilled at this point with 3in. Happy with 2. WRAL keeps saying Wake be patient because it’s coming and it’s not over til late.

In all great Northeastern winter storms the eastern coasts flirt with the mix line. Looks like that is happening out near Morehead City. Just north of there (e.g. New Bern) the rates should be incredible right now.

I mean it is coming up from the southwest on radar. I don’t think we’re dead.

I think the best forcing stays east and south of you- N-NNE wind direction isn't helping y'all bc of the downsloping component off the mountains directly to your north and NE- it creates low-level divergence....you will probably get some snow showers, but not nearly as much as areas like WS/G'boro
