It’s not all bad imo. A surging ridge into Alaska and a trough east of Hawaii is an ideal look at this range. I’m wondering if we’re seeing some feedback issues… a lot of moving parts… windshield wiper effect. You’ve got a stout -NAO developing, a lot of active shortwaves embedded in the flow and a complete Pacific reshuffle commencing. I’m hard pressed to believe we’re even close to a final solution.

I like how 60’s and 70’s for high temperatures are red.
So I guess this summer the 80’s 90’s will be black.

Thats pretty typical for modeling sites like pivotal weather.

Give me a loaded STJ and I don’t care about blocking or anything else the more systems you get even in a crap pattern maybe one will time it right. At this point there might be 2 total storm systems in the southeast this month and the odds one of them produces snow are minimal at best! I know it’s one run but damn everything is dry as a bone

Cold without snow imho sucks.   I know some of you like it so I get it but just enjoy the milder conditions thru Jan 14 th.  After that, we can probably have something to track.

I love the SE brand of cold. I’ve had more than enough mild after 7 days straight of torchy and sweaty 73-80. Thank goodness a return to a long torch isn’t in the forecast. I’m hoping for mainly BN to NN with low dewpoints (sub-45 is best) til further notice! Highs of 65 or lower other than a few low 70s scattered in and lows mainly in the 30s-40s. This is best for walking.
