H2Otown_WX
Not that anyone cares but the models sucked with this storm. The Euro, HRRR, and NAM from last night had 0.50 to 0.85 for most of CT and instead it was only a couple tenths. GFS actually did the best as it was much drier. 1

CoastalWx
I think the one thing that concerns me the most is that all the good moisture that this thing needs to wrap in is way offshore. That’s why the euro is fairly meager with precip. It’s straining to get anything into the conveyor belts and dump precip. That I don’t like. 3

And yes the 2010’s will eventually walk through the door. Larry bird might not walk through the door but Tatum might!! I think this goes far beyond a lull...this has been a multi year significant snow drought...
CoastalWx
It’s hilarious that shortwave struggles to generate advisory snow. What a winter.
Baroclinic Zone
I’d like to see that southern stream energy get absorbed into that northern stream sooner, so we can have that bowling ball mature sooner and be an able to wrap in all that southern energy. If, not we are left with this discombobulated mess of a storm.

But, I'd rather get several smaller ones to get everything covered up again over a period of the next month, rather then waiting for the big one to come and not showing up at all

UnitedWx
It wouldn't surprise me to watch this end of the week thing slowly disappear on the models over the next few days and start to focus on the 19th time frame. To me it has the look that they just don't know what to focus on yet
