Sounds like road up here in upper Dauphin county in the open field areas, where the wind has a unobstructed shot for drifting aren't in good shape this morning. Some are down to one lane with several inches of snow on the road.

Just as a type that we get a 58 mph howler that lasted about 45 seconds. My cat is freaking out at the ice snow blowing off roofs hitting windows.

I don't know if it's the wind direction today or what but I am barely noticing it unless I'm near one of our west-facing windows. It seemed a good bit gustier earlier this morning.

We had a little dimming of the lights going on a few minutes ago. That's one of my worries with this wind combined with the cold.

With our 1.3" of snow since yesterday here in EN we are up to 35.4" of snow for the season. This is almost at our average for an entire winter season of 35.5" The extreme cold warning continues until tomorrow at noon. Temperatures have fallen into the single digits across the area and will struggle to get much above 10 degrees with wind gusts as high as 55mph. Lows tonight will be within a couple degrees of zero and highs tomorrow into the mid-teens. We finally see a moderating trend with 4 climate stations across Chester County finally rising above freezing on Tuesday after a record setting 17 days below freezing. We might see some light freezing rain or rain on Wednesday as temperatures rise into the upper 30's. Models still hint at a storm possibility toward next weekend.
