Breezy and cold today with temperatures remaining below freezing this morning and then slowly falling through the 20's this afternoon. We will stay below freezing for much of the next week with the one exception being Saturday where we should moderate into the mid to upper 30's. There will also be a couple chances of some light snow both Saturday and Sunday. Our coldest weather of the season will arrive next week with high temperatures by Tuesday, remaining in the teens with nighttime lows in the single digits above zero.

Current temp of 29 is the low. Didn’t see any snow but .05” of rain in the bucket. Have to spend my birthday at the DMV this morning. I’d rather put pencils through my eyeballs.

Happy day pal.

Happy birthday friend! What a great start to your special day. :)

Not sure if you had to go renew a driver's license or something similar...when I have to do that, I go to Brimmer's across from Long's Park. I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes. Usually I'm the 1st of 2nd in line. I haven't been to the DMV in at least 20-25 years.

The early January thaw is over. Back to winter, we got the cold again, all we need now is that deep snowpack. And everyone will be happy. Hopefully this upcoming pattern delivers the much needed goods.

I was going to ask if you wanted to join me in Florida next week, but the expected temp when I arrive is to be around 28 degrees...

So far, 12z models are pretty “blah” for both Saturdays light event and Sundays system appears to slide to the south and east fairly flat. I hate kicking the can down the road as before you know it, its already March, but we may need to wait until later next week to get the southern branch more involved as the cold presses more

I'll have to remember that.  Can you get real id there?

Was just going to put a post up suggesting the same.  Looks like some mood flakes possible this weekend, but like you said, hopefully once this new pattern sets in we can score a couple hits.  Looks like there will be chances for sure.

Headed your way tomorrow night (Houtzdale).  Save some for me.

I am in the southern end of Huntingdon county now, which explains my bitching about being shafted as this area is the ridge and valley screw zone.
