Why not just run the ball there? We were already in field goal range. The only thing you can't do there is throw an interception.

This is eerily similar to the 2023 collapse. That was the 3rd straight loss, also on a Monday night (in 2023, it was against the Seahawks, which also ended in Hurts throwing an interception).

They wanted to win not tie. But I wouldn't have thrown into traffic...

This morning, we saw many valley locations across the area down into the single digits for low. The lowest was the 6.1 at Warwick. This was the coldest morning since late last January when many spots saw below zero temps both the 21st and 22nd of January. We continue to keep well below normal temperatures for the remainder of the week. We do warm up to closer to normal tomorrow which should allow any start of snow or freezing rain to switch to plain rain from SE to NW across the area by late morning. A couple more chances of snow look possible both on Friday night and again on Sunday morning. More frigid temperatures follow any snow potential on Sunday with the coldest day so far this year by next Monday.

I bottomed out at 15 this morning right around sunrise and that was the lowest since my Janury 21 - 23 triple single-digit temps of 8F, 6F, and 8F, where the dp bottomed out at 1.

Currently sunny and 30 with dp up to 8.

I just saw a news blip that since the state of NJ declared a Drought Warning, they are asking folks to conserve water.  Looks like it's drying up quick in western NJ and eastern PA.

Does drought guy have relatives in NY? NY subforum has several recent drought related post. Right up his alley....may want to get him on the horn.

no relatives but watch what comes out of DRBC the next few weeks. A basin wide drought warning maybe implemented by them by mid January if we do not get any moisture Up this way.  The southern jet stream is simply too far south and the northern jet stream will not bend to bring it up.  Their is enough short waves below Memphis but they are dying on the vine in the Tenn Valley. WE NEED TN VALLEY SHORTWAVES FOLKS TO PRODUCE UNTIL THEN YOU GET  NOTHING TO TRACK.

New York poster are scared because no water in the reservoirs means no water for them regardless of how the polluted Hudson looks.  The bitter cold is locking up the streams everywhere with ice too- so the water intakes in the rivers will be the talk too. Just look around hear- the Jordan creek is already frozen over with the little water that is in it.  It might as well be empty. We really ne3d a 3-5 in rain event with 50 degrees for a 3-4 day duration event. Any one see that in their crystal ball?
