Very low dews very low snow angle and you ain't hitting 40 next 10 days with  a refresher. Enjoy your cover it ain't going anywhere

5 inches at the groomer barn for 8 inch total pack, going to go out on sleds Sunday to start packing water holes and cutting blow downs hopefully.

Another 8 inches and we can dig the groomer out probably. 

Lakes will skim this weekend when the wind calms and then if it stays like that for a few days we'll have 4-5 inches of ice before the next storm. Fingers crossed!

Not all of it, but there will be some melting. I wasn't implying it would all melt. The hills are a different story.

Wx2fish and I have a friend in Bedford NH. He’s on the west side of town. There’s been a similar gradient between him and Bedford with these marginal events.

Yes...it was also huge to grab that inch of fluff at the end that a lot of SNE largely missed out on....covers up the rainy scars from yesterday evening...which as Steve said, us much more beneficial now than it is during March.

I also need to vent about Wankum...man, I can't stand him...such a lazy met. I love WCVB, but he is tough to stomach...always offers up these half-hazard, overly simplistic explanations that are just patently wrong. I mean...I get dumbing it down for the laymen, but to keep insisting central Mass got the snow because of elevation is idiotic when many spots in eastern areas hardly cracked freezing, and spots in the VALLEY out west still had 6". Is it rocket science to explain there was a warm layer a bit off of the ground back east?? He also was talking about the warm ground from the fall...what an ass.

We saw that here in westfield. If you straight measured it like I usually do... I know it's not the right way, then we had about 4.75". The other half measured it right and I can't remember because I'm dead tired from plowing all night but it was more than that here. I think he said around 6"

I see your point, however some of these people need to have their doors blown in every so often.  I have Tiger Torch on ignore, and a few others, but sometimes you see the post anyways, because somebody quoted it.  Whatever. On ignore they go.

EPS trying to really mute the mid-month torch. No real coherent threats, but a lot of buckshot on the ensembles....I suppose 12/9-10 still has a bit of the clipper/redeveloper sig, but not super strong. It has a system right on its heels...another stronger clipper...could morph into a SWFE....or just be a glorified FROPA. Way too early to really care.

Is he hazy, or just downright ignorant. Most here could a better job explaining what happened than that clown.  Sad he is a pro…doesn’t sound like it.

06z Euro was trying to get some snow into SNE early Saturday....not much, maybe a C-1"...not really buying it. Maybe a few flurries.

Yes I mean with systems maybe once twice a week it gets stagnant in here. Stir it up and convo gets real.

I went back starting at the 12z run on 11/27..and the Euro actually was pretty close with the track. However, thermals and storm intensity, especially between 11/28-11/30 were way off.  Not sure why it would do well with the track and suck at everything else. Going to be a fun winter.

The pattern seems like it's about to recycle what we've just gone through the past two or three weeks, it's not sure what exactly to focus on yet but there's lots of players on the field at least. Let's hope climo help some others out as we move forward. AND I need to stop typing and get some sleep! I'm not even sure if what I'm typing makes any sense
