Low of 53 with .81” of rain, for a 3-day total of 1.04” of glorious slow-soaking rainfall. Everything looking nice and green.

Most spots across the western burbs have received between 0.50" and 1.00" of rain over the past 4 days with the coastal storm. Here in East Nantmeal we have picked up 0.70" of rain. We look to dry out and cool down over the rest of the work week with today being our warmest day till the weekend. By Thursday we will see high temperatures remaining in the 50's but with 70's possible especially in the valley locations by Sunday. We also see our next chance of rain by Sunday evening before we turn cooler again to start the new work week.

at 10:1 you would have 6" of snow.  Ill take that anyday.

Yeah we would have been around a foot with the northwest harrisburg folk about half that, sounds like a classic Nor'easter cutoff.  Who knows, they may have made out better than us if the sleet line crept in from the southeast haha.

yeah its no different than seeing epic snowmaps days prior and then being bummed that you only got 6".  I'm with you....i'll take it anyday.

i also find it amusing that it was supposed to be another active year for hurricanes, and the "best" event that we got....was yesterdays "noreaster".

But if temps were border line through the storm and also the sun was out to at time during this nor'easter. Just how much snow would have been left to measure over the course of 3 days? We can only hope for a better outcome for this upcoming winter.

With all due respect those things can be said about any and every event we get.  I'll gladly take my chances w/ noreasters any day and every day.  Nothing new here IMO.  Just happy to see something we've not seen in a while.

I am so ready for a wintry scene outside. Beggars can't be choosy but since I'm not begging I'll elect to choose a nice, solid snow cover from late December that lasts into the beginning of 2026. Give me a white landscape for a few weeks during minimal sun angle with long nights and I'd be happy as a fiddle.
