Very underwhelming here so far- hopefully we see it pick up soon but currently on 29.7 with a dusting from the first round. Very little precip since then, even the Beech Mt cams look like not much going on besides some clouds.

Looks like arctic front just coming out of West Virginia. Hopefully by 12-1 we will see it start up

Yeah not bad. Can hear a few gusts up the hill now. Interestingly our power flickered earlier but its been dead calm ever since. 

Considering making my annual freeze-my-butt-off trip to Grayson Highlands tomorrow. Always a fun adventure consisting of trying not to freeze while also remaining upright.

It picked up alright. Looking at the downtown Boone cam and King Street needs a plow!

This is one of the more intense flow events I've seen in Boone/Blowing Rock, having lived here a bit over a decade now. Interesting considering we are much warmer and less windy than forecast. Guess the banding has set up right.

Hard to tell how much with wind but probably 1.5-2” in banner elk. Wind was extremely loud this morning. Pretty out but frigid. Got the fire roaring and going to head into town for lunch. Didn’t see much fall but it was coming down good at 5 am. Wind is still whipping and sun is out

AVL Regional Airport just had a gust of 63 mph!!
