The AHATT kooks were screaming about a 14-day heat wave and now they can't even buy a heat advisory lolz. You hate to see it...

weatherwiz
A heat wave and heat advisory are not in the same. You don’t need high dews or heat index for a heat wave
Damage In Tolland
A reminder to the few ACATT folks that post here .. Hurricanes pump ridges. So when calling for chilly Augdewst 15-31st keep that in back of minds . And when we bump your cold posts and summer over posts .. remember this particular post as you lay awake at night wondering why we were right again and you were wrong again 1 1 2
ForestHillWx
Pretty wild to see BTV and points east with higher temps than MMU; not saying it’s cool down here, rather comfortable though dry.

Snowedin
This heat oddly enough feels just as intense as what we had earlier in the season, despite the loss of some daylight. I think the humidity is much more of a factor this time around as the air really has that extra thickness to it today, which we’ve been missing for a while. Got a little walk in out by the waterfront but it’s hard to do much of anything except relax in these conditions. A true summer day for sure! HIPPYVALLEY
Top 10 summer night. Swam at the river from 5 to 7 PM, then grilled and ate dinner outside with literally no flying insects around. The Sahara conditions are pretty damn enjoyable, at least for the short term…
